My name is Andrea, and I am a web developer. I created this blog in preparation for Dev Bootcamp, an intensive web development training program in San Francisco, CA.

I’ve found that coding fascinates me because of its fusion of art and science — or at least, of design and technology. I am an artist at heart, and I desire to learn more about visual communication.

As I’ve gained experience with programming, I’ve been surprised by my enjoyment of problem solving. I never thought solving algorithms could be anything but a chore; I was happily surprised when it turned out to be fun!

Regardless of what form of project I am working on — whether for work or personal — I’m happy to just be creating.
